You now stand among the Ikons of Jakkar. You are greatly honored among the Cult of the Blackaxe. You gain the following benefits.

  • Wonderboy. The next time you reach a port, you may return your Lesser Blackaxe to the Cult of the Blackaxe in exchange for a Greater Blackaxe. Your Lesser Blackaxe will be given to a young Neophyte in the Cult of the Blackaxe.

  • To Be the Best. Your Strength and Constitution score each increase by 1. You no longer have disadvantage when attacking enemies at long range with firearms.

  • Rip and Tear. Whenever you make an attack with a firearm on a prone creature within 50 feet of you, you are guaranteed a critical hit. Whenever you land a critical hit with a firearm, it triples the damage die instead of doubling it.

They take 4d6 piercing damage on failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Tri-Cannon. The Greater Blackaxe has three barrels, giving it a magaazine size of 3. You may fire the Greater Blackaxe 3 times before reloading, and when you take an action to reload you may load all three barrels. It can never become jammed, and features a series of toggleable elemental enhancers. The central reciever can be toggled to change the damage type of all barrels into force damage. Each barrel features an adjustable elemental refractor which alters the element of the central mechanism and may change the damage type of its barrel into radiant, necrotic or psychic damage if the main mechanism is enabled. You may spend 1 bonus action to toggle the central reciever or the refractor of a specific barrel.

Quantum Leap. The Greater Blackaxe is equipped with an ethereal sight and ethereal entanglement mechanism. This allows sight of creatures within the ethereal plane, though checks made to detect them are made at disadvantage. In addition, a user of a Greater Blackaxe may toggle the ability to fire their shells into the ethereal realm with a bonus action. Additionally, creatures with etherealness or incorporeal movement traits are vulnerable to damage from the Greater Blackaxe

Hippo Sized. The Greater Blackaxe is extremely bulky. It requires a Strength score of 24 to use without disadvantage for most creatures, but the hippo-like build of the Giff allows them to wield it with a Strength score of 18. It uses the Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls.

Blessed Blackaxe. The Greater Blackaxe is considered a magical weapon and requires attunement. You may may add + 2 to all attack and damage rolls made with it.
